More Details
My long-term goal is to become an Interactive or Digital Producer and I am looking for an innovative company; an ideal place to forward my skills and experience in this area. I do not have prior agency experience, however in my work with Ad Club and other extracurricular activities, I recently refined many professional skills and as an intern I am anxious to employ them.
As Account Executive for the AAF NSAC team, I was responsible for the overall project scope, timeline, people management, materials and quality of a fully integrated advertising campaign of $100 million dollars on behalf of JCPenney. Simultaneously, as Vice President of Ad Club I documented and maintained structure in all meetings and often operated the budget and spending for club trips—including a trip to San Francisco with 20 members where I booked flights, hotels and local transportation. As my peers and professors can attest, I am a fast learner and quick adapter. I handle changes smoothly and transitions with a clear mind.
My interest in advertising is coupled by my fascination with digital communication. In order to share knowledge in the combining worlds of digital innovation and communication, I helped found the Social Media Club (SMC) at Texas State; the first student chapter in Texas and third in the nation. This student chapter of a national organization grew to over 40 members in a semester bringing in speakers from Facebook and panel discussions from SMC in Austin.
